Summary:
The touching, inspiring, and heartbreaking true story of one young girl affected by the winds of history. Edith Schwalb, a young Jewish girl caught up in the Nazi invasions of World War II, is always hiding. Shatta and Bouli Simon, a French Jewish couple, have secretly opened a school for fugitive Jewish children. Sarah Kupfer, also in hiding, offers friendship in the most trying times. Oncle Albert and Tante Marie share the bounty from their land with Edith. The many residents of Moissac, France, conspire to hide the existence of hundreds of Jewish children.
